I grew up in a running household (both of my parents competed in track at the collegiate level) so it was no surprise when I ran my first 10k at just 10 years old. Ever since then I’ve been in love with running!
I had the amazing opportunity to compete in both cross country and track at the collegiate level for KU! Running has always been more than just a sport to me, it’s a way to glorify God and express gratitude for the gifts He’s given me! That faith and purpose have motivated me to keep running even after my college career ended.
After graduation, my main goal was to really just run for fun and hopefully qualify for the Boston marathon. So after my win at the Garmin Kansas City marathon and having run a Boston Qualifying time already, I realized I have a lot more dreams that I can chase! Now, I’m focused on continuing to improve my marathon time and deepening my love for the sport! I’m so grateful for the opportunity to join this team and compete alongside such talented athletes!
