Bio:
After playing lacrosse throughout college, I started running a year after graduating as a simpler way to
stay active than coming up with workouts (no AI to help back then!). Three months later, in August
2021, I ran my first half marathon with my best friend in memory of a late player — and I was hooked. I
raced my next half marathon in October, dropping nearly 20 minutes off my time, and crossed the line
as the first female overall. The excitement of seeing hard work pay off kept me chasing more races and
new goals.
After a few more half-marathons later, qualifying for Boston became my dream. Learning to incorporate
strength training and proper fueling into my workouts/races, I was fortunate to qualify on my second
attempt and raced the Boston Marathon in 2024.
For me, running is the perfect balance of personal challenge and shared community. Beyond chasing
PRs, the true reward has been the life-long friendships built and the chance to race in and explore places
I once only dreamed of visiting.
Looking ahead, I am excited to keep getting faster each season while chasing my bucket list goals of
running a sub-3 marathon and completing all the World Majors.
See you on the streets!!
