Bio
I have been running competitively for over 35 years but have found a new competitiveness and energy now that I have fully embraced the 50-54 age group. In the most recent years, I have enjoyed competing in Europe, running the 2024 Paris Marathon and the 2025 Lentemarathon in Amstelveen, The Netherlands. It has been a wonderful opportunity to vacation, explore other cultures, and meet new people while combined with running. A notable highlight of my running career was competing in the USATF 100Km Championships in Duluth, Minnesota, in 2002, where I placed 9th.
Goals
My current emphasis is on the road marathon, with several tune-up races along the way. I want to see how far I can excel once again, while staying healthy and most importantly, enjoying every step.
