Once again, several KC Smoke Athletes made the trek north to Iowa State University for the Last Chance Indoor meet.
Kevin Miller and Eric Graham got things started by racing the mile. Kevin, 50, raced a jaw dropping 4:35.99 and Eric Graham ran 4:58.13. This sets Kevin up for a nice showing at USA Masters Indoor T&F champs in two weeks. Major props to Eric who caught the fire and is coming back to fitness. It was great to see him back on the track!
Randy Wasinger continue to drop his 800m time by setting an indoor PR of 1:56.63! – He was successful in both efforts!
Aaron Hohn and Ron Kochanowicz raced the 5000m. Aaron lowered his 2012 5000m indoor time to 15:34.91 and Ron set a lifetime 5000m PR of 16:28.26.
This wraps up indoor season for the open athletes. The masters have their sites set on the USA Masters Indoor Track and Field Championships in two weeks. Things just keep getting better and we're having a lot of fun. As warm temperatures approach, we hope to see many of you on the roads and outdoor track.

Dallas-FW Half Marathon
Masters Runner Keith Long, 54, continues to amaze by racing 1:16 at the DFW Half Marathon on Feb 26th. Great job Keith!
