I was a competitive runner in high school and planned to run during my college years at the University of Notre Dame, but decided to focus on academics after some nagging injuries my freshman year. After college, I left the sport for many years and had foot and ankle surgery about 6 years ago. I’ve started integrating the sport back into my life after surgery and hopefully can continue to get stronger. My goals include possibly running a sub 1:30 half marathon and trying the marathon distance soon.
