    KCTC Intervals

Get excited about the weather tomorrow. Perfect day to do a little interval session. Tomorrow will 6-12 1 min on 1 min off fartlek(12 or 24 min total workout), depending on how much you think you can do. I will be at SME (Shawnee Mission East) around 5:45. You should jog a little bit before hand to get a warm up but will do drills around 6:05-6:10 then start your workout. A little history about fartlek: A simple unstructured workout that uses both aerobic and anaerobic systems. Usually one runs for a certain duration at about 60-80% effort, then backs off for a certain time. There is no set distance we are looking to cover, but want to give everyone a chance to test their leg speed and prepare for a one mile time trial Next Tuesday, March 17th. Let me know if you have any questions and I will get back to you asap. #kcintervalsSee you all tomorrow! Thank you!! Gerry
