Personal Bio:
I am from Jefferson City, MO. I ran at Helias on very low mileage. Then, I went to Southeast Missouri State for cross-country and track. I ran at Southeast for six years. I had a hormone imbalance in the spring of 2019 which caused me to redshirt and then of course COVID gave me my 6th year. I would like to think I am a very “sturdy” runner, as I have been blessed in not having any bone or muscle injuries. During my time at Southeast I ran many races, my last two years I focused on the 5k and Steeple because that is what my team needed at the time. I have recently run my first Marathon and Half Marathon. My goal is to lower my times in both of these events. I run because it is truly my passion. I love that running is a sport where you can always do better, and it is a constant battle against yourself.
