Saturday weather in St. Louis was COLD and WINDY. Fortunately, the sun was shining! Several KC Smoke athletes competed. We had representation in the Women's masters, Open Women, and Men's masters races.
Major props go out to Kevin Miller,
50, as he stole the show in the Mens Masters 8K. Kevin Miller placed 6th overall with an 8K time of 26:53.2. However, this time earned him the top spot for an age-graded effort of 90.13%. In masters racing this is where the money's at. Kevin managed a $700.00 payday!! Overall, the KC SMOKE men's masters team took 4th out of 6 teams.
